So why is it that whatever I hear on Hannity about HRC, I read on DU later?

Who'da thunk? Politics makes for stranger and stranger bedfellows. And apparently the right wing nuts in the country as well as factions of the Democratic Party grassroots have joined forces on the "Stop Hillary Express".

It should be more obvious than a 30' tall pink elephant crammed in the room by now that the Republics want Obama nominated. The fact that Rush, Hannity and the other RW nuts are coddling and actually taking up for Obama and joining with the far left in trashing Hillary means that the Republics are very confident that Obama is the one they can beat in November. Obama really is the perfect storm for the Republics. There is so much they can do. He's Black, his middle name is Hussein, he's admitted to doing drugs. The hit piece commercial possibilities are absolutely endless. The first commercial that comes to my mind is the (I believe it was Jesse Helms or maybe Strom Thurmond) commercial with the white hand taking the layoff pink slip from the black hand. I think we can expect a barrage of that type thing if Obama is nominated. Then, by the time the Republic Party and the RW are through with Obama, he will appear to the vast majority of the country as this bumbling, pre-adolescent child who has no experience, who is a threat to the country, and to the really batshit nuts voters as well as those polite white voters that don't like to speak beyond hushed tones about such taudry things, they'll have stopped the spread of Black Islamofascism.

We know now that John Kerry was the candidate that the Republic Party wanted most to win the nomination in 04 because they saw him as easiest to beat. Although I don't remember the RW being anywhere near nice to him like they're being to Obama right now. Between swift-boating, and other outright lies whose refutations were lost in the cacophony of more lies, Kerry got overwhelmed and (Ohio notwithstanding) was defeated. The 04 scenario worked just as the Republic Party wanted.

I even went to lunch and let this sit before clicking "Post message" just so I could think a bit more about this issue, and that maybe I was being too harsh. So I go out to get a bite to eat and the first thing I hear is Rush playing wonderful Obama commercials (the one with the woman Democrat that wanted a woman president but now she's replacing her Hillary yard sign with an Obama sign) and talking about how evil Hillary is. The RW, like Rush are not the least bit stupid. They are well aware that millions of Democrats and liberals listen to Rush or Hannity because there is no Air America alternative in their area. The RW is well aware they can and will have an influence on the Democratic Party primaries. So Rush and Hannity talk about how wonderful Obama is, how fresh and new he is, and how mean and awful Hillary and how terrible it is that Hillary has officially authorized these terrible attacks by the Clinton "machine" on poor little Obama who never hurt anyone, in the same sentence. Because, they know Hillary can and will win in November and that is their worst nightmare.

So what happens is the far left innocently and with good intentions ends up carrying the water for the right wing because of idealism, the notion of the "need for change", or whatever honorable reason. Unfortunately, Obama cannot and will not win in November 08. It can't and won't happen. Supporting Obama only helps further the RW agenda because, just like supporting Nader, he can't win and will only lead to four more years of a continuation of the right wing revolution of 2000.

1. You're not the only one who's noticed ... I don't even have to listen
the RW to know the source for most of this crap. I'm letting it slide because HRC is going to face this until election day ... and beyond.

5. When you're a talk-radio junkie
you take what you can get. Air America went off in these parts over a year ago. I don't have XM or Sirius so I take what I can get and cuss and fuss at the radio.

25. Try the stream at www.novamradio.com
Stephanie Miller. Thom Hartmann. Randi Rhodes. Jeff Farias. Mike Malloy. Rachael Maddow. John Elliot.

That lineup should be enough for a talk radio junkie (unless you actually want to listen to right wing horseshit)

for all the bitterness and infighting here in 2004, seldom were right wing sources used. It was not only taboo, but it was a quick way for a post and/or user to be deleted. I'm not talking about garden-variety talking heads who are accused of being right wing because they got a little too comfortable with Bush, inc. I'm referring to avowed right wing sources - FOX News, Weekly Standard, Newsmax, etc.

In 2007-2008, this isn't the case.

7. This is why Joe Biden needs to move into the top tier. All they have
is an overly explained bankruptcy bill and a stupid plagarism charge. Compare this with this expertise in both foreign and domestic issues. No contest, no learning on the job, no problem...

29. Ha, a bill that passed overwhelmingly 74-25-1
With Hillary the one who didn't vote. Silliness. One vote on one bipartisan bill! They don't have anything else to attack him with! I love it!

His big mouth may get him in trouble yet, but that hasn't been a problem for Bush who really is a true asshole so I'm not too worried.

The right wing hate talkers and pundits(which is 99% of them) have been pumping up Obama while
trashing Hillary.

Why are there left wing factions jumping onto the "Stop Hillary Express"?

RIGHT HERE--> "The RW, like Rush are not the least bit stupid. 15. you are so clear ... they are replaying the Florida primaries between Janet Reno and McBride.
They said Janet Reno could not even beat Jeb but McBride could ... they knew full well it was Reno who could've really given Jeb the boot but pack mentality and diebold machines combined to give McBride the democratic nomination and in the end McBride just handed it to Jeb.

19. Listening to Hannity is making you crazy. Stop!
I don't care for Obama. I do, however, think he he can beat any of the likely suspects from the other side.

Consider:

A lot of fundies won't vote for a Mormon.

A lot of conservative Catholics won't vote for a Baptist preacher.

Cultural conservatives have problems with Rudy.

The war has been an expensive mess.

The economy is pretty shaky.

Gas prices are WAY up.

****

Stop listening to Talk Radio. You won't regret it. It's a waste of your time.
