Did any news outlet other than the NY Daily News report that Guantanamo troops hacked Wikipedia?
Some of you may remember yesterday's article in the NY Daily News detailing how Guantanamo troops were caught distorting information in Wikipedia, even writing that Fidel Castro ""an admitted transexual".

WASHINGTON - Wikipedia sleuths Wednesday exposed the U.S. military hackers who labeled Fidel Castro an "admitted transsexual" and deleted sensitive information about Gitmo detainees from the Web site.

Volunteers working for the online encyclopedia traced digital fingerprints found on Wikipedia.org to Joint Task Force-Guantanamo, the U.S. military command running the Camp Delta terrorist prison in Cuba.

I don't watch ever single show or ever single newspaper in the nation, so I want to ask you if you have heard of read this information in any other mainstream outlet. Progressive blogs have taken the lead and carried the story, but I haven't seen it in the NY Times, Washington Post, or anywhere else.

1. They didn't "hack", they just edited the article.

2. If that's all it takes to be a "hacker" nowadays,
I think just about everyone who has managed to figure out Microsoft Word is a "hacker."
