I think that bashing and name-calling about Pelosi and Reid is
real easy to do over the Internet when you don't have to do their job.

1. Amen.
Agree with you completely. It's so fucking easy to take potshots at them on an internet message board.

5. and I think that your comment is easy to make, as well.
I neither bash nor name call, but I certainly feel free to criticize. And this is a week where both of them deserve opprobrium heaped upon their heads.

7. Their job is to help provide checks and balances
called for in the constitution. They are certainly not doing this which may account for all the name calling and bashing. I am so mad at them that for not representing the interests of those who elected them, I don't really care what they are called and I certainly would not post a message defending them.

10. Yeah aren't you just thrilled with what they have accomplished?
Perhaps you should repost that list from Pelosi's website. Every morning I wake up, read the news, and think 'what a relief that our guys are in charge of Congress'. And then I think 'fuck nader'. No wait, that is your head. Let me out. What a fucking nightmare.

13. I hate it when the give the money for the war funding to bush
but truthfully, when the Defense department threatens to lay off over 100,000 employees what can they do. And when the DOF threatens to withhold equipment form the troops.

It is all well and good to slam them, but I suppose they think these type of things over ride the hard decisions. Look at the Children's Health Bill they have gotten it passed twice and bush vetoes..Now the press is bashing the Democrats in congress because they dont' have a bill. They don't tell that bush is vetoing it. So if they don't cut half the provisions and money from the poor kids out bush won't sign it. Again he is cutting money right and left from projects that serve the public while he gives it away to the super rich and corporations.

UNTIL and WHEN the Democrats get their own MSM they will never get the whole message out to the public. I think they should pass a bill that regulates the lying crap that is put out on the airwaves. Not the truth but the stuff, rush and Fox and Malken and Drudge spew is LIES and I think if they pass a law that holds them accountable with ENFORCEABLE FINES it will stop. Because with the MSM the republican owned press it is all about the
MONEY.
