I'm not too big on predictions, and I don't know what will happen in Iowa, but I feel safe predicting that whatever happens, there will be some seriously upset people posting. Accusations will fly. 9. This forum has really gone to shit the last week or so. I've never seen so much blatant trolling.

Been here a long time and this is the worst I've seen it in that regard, and the mods and Admins don't really seem to give a damn who says what about any of the candidates (though this will probably get deleted). If all the stuff being let go is acceptable than DU is no longer even close to what it claims it is. DU can't claim to be for Dems when they constantly allow the blatant smears and distortions against Dems to stand. I know some stuff is a fine line and can be a tough call, but there's stuff going right now that's just pure bullshit meant to take down Democrats and serves no other purpose at all.

It looks like it's going to be close enough that the top three will ultimately each get delegates, and probably even close to the same amount of delegates. It appears they've basically fought to a draw and will live to fight another day! So the bickering and jingoism here will continue.

Iowa...Hillary, Obama, or Edwards. That doesn't mean they will win the nomination. You have to look at the fact that Oprah bussed in all those students to get them to register and vote for Obama. THERE'S 49 other states and she will have a hell of time bussing in any there. So Obama wins Iowa -- or Hillary wins Iowa-- or Edwards...remember DEAN DID THE LAST TIME AND HE DIDN'T GET THE NOMINATION.

Dean actually finished a distant third. That was why he was trying so hard to pump up the faithful that night which resulted in The Scream.

Also, we should keep in mind that it's not 'winner-take-all". The top vote-getters will each get delegates. Even finishing with 18% Dean got 7 delegates.
