27. I just finished listening to Obama's...
speech at the NH dem dinner, and I wonder whether the idea is so off-the-wall afterall.... Incredible speech, by the way.

29. I can see Hagel's appeal...but his views are inconsistent with Dems' views.
Although he is pretty cute, I must say.

But as someone concerned about the environment, I wouldn't vote for Hagel because he wants to drill in ANWR.

There are issues as important to others, like the environment and immigration, as the Iraq War is.

nominee, but I never imagined Obama doing it. Hagel is a good guy. Very interesting thought you just put into my head. thanks.

9. Hagel's an ass
he owns a share in ES&S and Diebold voting machine
rigged his own election in South Dakota and he's part of the trilateral commission and connected to bilderberg.

Hagel is scarier and smarter than bush and connected with more of the global military complex than bush is.

I am personally bothered by hagel entering the race with Bloomberg as an independent.. which is viable as americans think cause hagel criticized bush he must be good.

mark my word, hagel is WORSE than bush.

it's somewhat "over there", no? But he is part of the "trilateral commission", that's inexcusable!

19. Wait a second--Hagel is "connected" to the military complex, but
advocates military action as a last resort and promotes diplomacy? He's kind of a weak link for them then, eh?

14. Hagel is an ultra-conservative.
If you think that's a good idea, you should probably look into his record a bit further.

20. Hagel is a goddamn republican
from my state. He's a piece of shit. I hope Obama doesn't pick as a running mate one of the assholes who voted to impeach Bill Clinton over a crummy blue dress. The only good thing about Hagel is that he opposes the war. Check Hagel's voting record. He's a republican if there ever was one!

If Obama is the Democratic nominee and picks Hagel as a running mate, I won't vote.

Either one would not be a suitable VP for a progressive like Obama.

37. Keep Hagel way out of this...
If you know about his links to the Black Box voting machines as well as his ardent right-wing leanings on social issues, you give him the buzzer.
