Question on New Hampshire

Is this going to be the same as Iowa with a caucus, or will it be like a primary where everyone just votes and there is not switching around like in Iowa for those who didn't get 15%?

1. I would like to know if people can switch parties on the day of caucus like Iowa.

In Arizona one can not do that.

Anybody who has ever voted on a party ticket, or registered for a specific party, can't. But NH is more independents anyway. It depends on whether they show up for McCain or Obama, and whether conservatives show up for Edwards. Liberals voted for Obama, if you look at the exit polls.

2. My understanding is NH is a straight vote. I don't know if they have run-off voting or not.

5. I think you are correct. Straight vote. No runoff.

...and independents can vote on either ballot.

3. It's a primary where people go out to vote

at polling stations. Like a normal voting day. I worked it for a candidate in 2004, it was alot of fun.
