Clinton accuses Obama supporters of false hope!!!
New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, reeling from defeat in Iowa at the hands of Barack Obama, urged Democratic voters on Friday not to build up "false hopes" by choosing an inexperienced presidential candidate.

In Iowa, which kicked off the process of choosing the next U.S. president with its caucuses on Thursday, the former first lady finished a disappointing third, nine percentage points behind Obama and narrowly behind former North Carolina Sen. John Edwards.

"This is a new day, this is a new state," Clinton told reporters after arriving in the New England state. Despite her loss, she said she would continue to contrast her resume with Obama's comparative youth and inexperience.

"We can't have false hopes. We've got to have a person who can walk into that Oval office on day one and start doing the hard work that it takes to deliver change," she said.

Now that momentum is a downward spiral. She just doesn't get it. I feel for her, really I do. So much for inevitability.

11. There's nothing wrong with that statement,
anyone can use the words hope and change as a campaign slogan, but unless they define those terms that's all they are. A woman as the first President in this country's history is as much change as having Obama elected. Hope? What does that mean?

and it was masterful, but I'm not voting for hope and I'm not voting for inspiration. I want a hard-nosed politician who can get at least some of the things I want and need successfully passed through congress. How and why is Obama better able to do that than Clinton?

23. The entire Democratic field has shown better judgment than Hillary Clinton
None of them, once burned by Bush on Iraq, would have voted to once again trust Bush with the authority to go to war in Iran. While Biden and Dodd voted against the warmongering Kyl-Lieberman Iran bombing resolution, Hillary could not resist joining the traitor Joe Lieberman in giving Bush another green light for war.

I want a hard-nosed politician who can get at least some of the things I want and need successfully passed through congress.

Hillary's dismal failure on health reform set back for over a decade efforts to provide universal health care for all Americans.

There isn't a single major piece of legislation that Hillary can take credit for.

Check Obama's record in the Illinois legislature. It is a record of solid accomplishments and bipartisan cooperation, despite initial opposition (such as the law that required video taping of police interrogations, to prevent police abuses).

31. Hillary's dismal failure on health care reform
was due to a combined corporate, republican attack. What were the rest of her rivals doing about health care at that time. The rest is just hyperbole, she trusted bush, a big mistake, but if you read her floor speech, she warned bush about invasion and was voting for more UN intervention and more inspections.

Read Edwards' floor speech, his voting record on Iraq, and his cosponsorship of Lieberman's amendment and Hillary comes across as a dove.

haven't even decided who you like. One minute you're all Obama, the next you're all Hill, the next you're dissing Obama. When you figure out what you're hoping for, you'll know what a vote for hope is.

32. I see the same vendetta is still carrying their torches and hot tar...
wonderful how the Repugnant Hate Machine feeds off Dems.

Obama got 40%

Edwards/Clinton got 60%

A little food for thought there for those with real minds.

Oh yeah, less than a percentage point difference between Edwards/Clinton...it is a real tie, not an implied one.

Now, if Edwards just wouldn't sound so much like Lindsey Graham when he speaks....
