5. I was impressed

For once in his life, he actually sounded as if he were awake. Which is a good thing IMHO...even though I'm an Edwards supporter, I'd rather have Obama than HRC as president.

To imagine that electoral politics make a difference in peoples lives, that is delusional. It's just a dog and pony show so that people think they have a say in things. Seems like it's worked pretty good thus, but perhaps not for much longer, it's wearing pretty thin. The past 20 years have a fine lesson in the futility of expecting a silk purse from a sow's ear.
