good bye--be safe but stay LONG. I have a beef with the WI legislature. They prevented a health care plan (universal) being passed in Wisconsin last fall. we have a Dem gov (Doyle)--and Dem Senate but Assembly is Repug!!

Madison - With the announcement Thursday that a second Republican lawmaker would be sent to Iraq, the GOP Assembly majority narrowed, potentially making it harder to control their agenda this spring.

Republican leaders said the deployments wouldn't change their plans.

Freshman state Rep. Roger Roth (R-Grand Chute) said Thursday he had been called up to active duty in Iraq.........

Assembly Assistant Majority Leader Mark Gundrum (R-New Berlin), a captain in the 432nd Civil Affairs Unit of the Army Reserves based in Green Bay, is now training in Fort Bragg, N.C. He will be deployed to Iraq in about four weeks, his office said.
