To try to push a "Come Back Kid" meme?

1. Hard to say..
What do you suppose Obama will say if he comes in second?

If she is really close, within one or two.
If she is down 10-15%, which seems halfway likely, then no.

2. Yes, I think so. LOTS of people have spent a lot of money on her campaign for them to give up
at least so soon.

3. If she came in a very close second
It could be argued either way, which would make it fair for her side to choose the argument that works best for Hillary. If, on the other hand, all she did was move ahead of Edwards into second place, with Obama far ahead, I think it would be dumb.

4. Like Iowa, NH is not a winner take all state....
In Iowa Obama won just one more delegate than Hillary: 16 to 15.

If Obama wins NH with the same or similar margin then what? The race goes on.

I say and the Hillary campaign says - let's see what happens on Feb 5.

10. That's a key point there. I concur that the action starts Feb 5th, and much can happen between now
and then.

31. Nevada votes on January 19th
No polling there since December 6th but Hillary won the last poll 45/18/14. I'd be interested to see if independents or crossovers can vote in Nevada. In states where only Democrats can vote Hillary has a better chance.

5. How about you focus more on your candidate...
and stop obsessing on what Hillary may or may not do? Your vitriolic fixation is both unhealthy and pathetic.

6. Keep whining, There is no rule that says I can't ask questions about Hillary
It sure hasn't stopped Hillary supporters from questioning Obama.

15. I'm not whining, nor am I a Hillary supporter.
You will ask all the questions you like, but you're not really after answers. Your agenda is obvious, and I find several of you Obama supporters to be obnoxious bullies. So, carry on representing your candidate in the most negative fashion. I, for one, am having major difficulties maintaining a positive interest in Obama because of tactics like these. Talk about 'Rovian' ... check a mirror recently?

I keep trying to like Obama but his supporters are turning not only me, but my entire family off. I'm not the only one who feels this way either.

12. She's not considered 'left enough' for some. Obama, who has his own share
of 'corporate accomodations' and who is, in fact, not a liberal at all, but a pragmatic moderate, gets a pass.

People are going on what they hear, not what they've read and researched on their own. It's a beauty contest...here, anyway.

20. I know...I recognize the possibility that Obama will be the nominee...and I try to wam to him...
And have even defended him from some ridiculous attacks recently...

But Obama supporters seem more intent on continuing the trashing of Hillary rather than celebrating their own guy...makes it harder to get enthusiastic...

Let's hope it is confined to places like this and not in the real world...although judging by the behavior of some of his supporters last night I would say not...

27. Wolsh, let me know if I'm wrong, but it sounds to me like you're concerned she might do that
I'm not being at all snarky, I'm just wondering if you're a little worried that the tactic you speak of, cheesy as it is in your opinion, could help her campaign.

Your post is food for thought, btw.

It would be disingenuous, because she has always led NH, but she could try.I would hope that people saw through it.

33. To be fair, I think when Tweety was bashing the comeback kid spin yesterday he was partly wrong
He said that Clinton had a 10 point lead over Tsongas before New Hampshire. That may have been true at one point but after Gennifer Flowers he was presumed dead in the water. I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that's how it went.
