3. Obama needs to win NH, or the "Clinton Comeback" theme will start.
I think he will do it.

5. I'm sorry.. I just don't see any way Obama loses NH. Those are fiercely
independent people in a state with above-average income and above-average education. I just don't see how they don't break for him in a rather major way.

9. Hillary wins Dems - but I suspect indies and GOPers afraid of Hillary in general are under counted -
and in that group - which in NH are allowed to vote in Dem primary - O must be 20 points ahead of Hill in the CNN poll

It comes down to how many indies chose Obama over stopping Mitt.

Polls suggest that 60% of "undeclareds" (closet Republicans)
will take a Democratic ballot on Tuesday.

This huge proportion of non-Democrats "helping" to pick
the Democratic nominee is *EXACTLY* why Iowa and New
Hampshire should be cut out of their catbird positions
in the Democratic nominating process.

14. I would think it would be a good thing that majority of undeclareds are going to participate with us
...Would you rather most undeclareds vote in the republican primary?

There seems to be a some irrational fear of growing our party into a strong majority or something. Iowa was tremendously good news for Democrats. So can NH

17. Most of those "undeclareds" are *DEFINITELY* Republican voters.
When a guy comes in in full camo and NRA regalia
and asks for a Democratic ballot, you can be pretty
certain that he's not voting in our primary to help
us, and that when the General Election rolls around,
he'll be voting for the Republican.

I think the NH primary might have an excuse for
existing if its primary were restricted to enrolled
Democrats, but given that about half the vote comes
from Republican-leaning undeclared voters, I think
the NH Primary is worse than useless for us.

11. You forgot to mention that it's also a 3 point gain for Edwards.
As mentioned on CNN. Sheesh, even CNN can report in a more equitable manner.
