Hillary gives an excellent interview responding to Obama's lie about his pharmaceutical lobbyist
She's very impressive in responding to this issue. She notes there's a difference between talk and action. "When it becomes inconvenient that you have a lobbyist running your campaign, you deny it." She notes she's subjected to very close scrutiny by the media, but she welcomes it. She comes across as extremely likeable, especially at the end.

In an interview aboard her campaign bus Sunday, Clinton and Mark Halperin discuss Obama’s debate denial of the the fact that his NH campaign leader is a drug industry lobbyist. Click above to watch.

Despite Obama’s denial, the facts say otherwise– click here for more.

4. That is just a subjective projected poll.
No one is formalizing an answer via a poll.

8. Yeah, just like the last DMR poll before Iowa was a "subjective projected poll"
Turns out it was dead-on accurate.

21. So Huckabee is the real anti-lobbyist candidate?
Edwards is lowest of the Dems - so I'd say he has the most creditability on this issue.

14. Did Hillary lie about this or are you just changing the subject? I understand if you are,
Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 07:36 PM by Karmadillo
as it's difficult to defend a "new politics" candidate when he lies, but I just wanted to make sure.

6. Isn't she going to sound hypocritical shortly????
Because if it is such a bad thing, what about who she's got on board?

She is playing dangerously close to the line. She may be stepping over it any moment now.

13. You guys can't leave the right wing talking points alone, can you?

<edit>

LOOK WHO’S ATTACK-ATTACK-ATTACKING: Mort and Fred were pimping the script even before Bush announced his high principles. Here they are on The Beltway Boys on April 30, 2000:

KONDRACKE (4/30/00): Look, the dynamic here is perfectly obvious. Gore is behind in all the polls, so he's doing what worked with Bill Bradley, attack attack attack, and, you know, and he's hoping that it'll work on George W. Bush. The difference is that George W. Bush is not going to take it forever. I mean, George W. knows how to counterpunch, and I predict soon that he'll start doing it.

BARNES: Yes, he's not going to be the guy on the ropes just getting punched. No rope-a-dope for him. But look, Gore was attack attack attacking, and he's—in the beginning, and now he's been going down as a result of that attack attack attacking. He doesn't—I don't think he knows how to deal with Bush, who doesn't want to really get—engage him in a back-and-forth, wisely.

15. It is sad. She is by far the best candidate.
This is going to be 2000 all over again. The only difference is Obama is not a dummy and will be able to run the country after two years in office. Therefore we only need to worry about 2009-2011. Lets hope everyone plays nice for the first two years.

Edited on Sun Jan-06-08 08:27 PM by kelligesq
not during the debate anyway. I dont know if he did later, but not during the
debate..He just clammed up.

By the way, I thought the guy running Obama's campaign used to run Hillary's campaign...as a matter of fact aren't most of his campaign managers formerly Hillary's ? That's what I heard anyway.
