I admire a lot of the Clinton supporters here and I have for some time.

And no, that's not snark. At all. Are their Clinton supporters who haven't behaved well? Yeah, but I can think of more good natured ones than asshats. And they've taken a ton of shit from posters here, not just about their candidate, but against them personally. And mostly they've handled it with a lot of patience and dignity even though they've had every vile name in the book thrown at them.

So here's to Evergreen and Elizabeth and MtSnake and Maddie and Ronnie and everyone else who has supported Clinton with civility and patience throughout DU's shitfit about her and her supporters here.

8. I've been warming to Hillary. I've been a Gore hold-out, leaning

toward Edwards, but I'm beginning to like Hillary. What caught my attention was a single remark she made, "There may be a recession coming." This persuaded me that she is facing reality, and seriously concerned about the future.

I like all the promises and hype as much as anybody else, but I am convinced we are in for some tough years ahead and I'm impressed that she is thinking about that.

This process is tough on everyone. It's worse when your candidate is struggling.

13. The more Hillary bashing threads I read

the more read I am to back her. She can eat the Republicans alive. She knows she can't promise everything Democrats want. But I think the fire in her started with the Republican congress during Bill's tenure. Vengeance is hers.
