Hillary considering pulling out? I just heard a rumor
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 11:36 AM by Jackpine Radical
supposedly from Sludge, but I don't go to that site 'cuz I don't want to give him the hits. But a RW guy I know just told me Grudge is headlining it.

Anybody know? Any other sources?

4. Don't believe those kind of stories
They're crap. Really. Total crap.

Think about it for one minute and ask yourself why she would do that. You'll understand why it's crap then.

12. Lobster Boy considering jumping in? I just heard a rumor
I think I read in in a magazine or something. Or heard it on the radio. Or maybe it was that crazy guy who panhandles in front of Starbucks.

Anybody know? Anyone got a link?

20. A question isn't the same thing as a rumor.
Here.
Rumor: Hillary is pulling out.
Question: Is Hillary pulling out? Any confirmation from other sources?

Notice the difference?

14. As much as I would like it to be true.
There's no way she's throwing in the towel before NH. If she loses, and then loses SC (which is likely) she certainly should consider it. But being Hillary, probably won't.

27. I doubt she will either
She has funding and things could change. (I hope they don't.) The reason makes no sense as her "brand" will be deflated as much by quitting after a second (or even another third) in NH as by quitting after losing convincingly on SuperTuesday.

Consider it logically - pulling out after NH, definite 100% deflation.
Hanging in - some possibility of pulling it out.

The cost to HRC of continuing the next 4 weeks is not that high, it's grueling, but most will be spent before crowds supporting her. Consider that Edwards stayed in nearly a month after Kerry was almost for sure the candidate (after the first multistate day.) She already has the money to compete. In some ways, it might be harder for Edwards - who doesn't have the money to compete on super Tuesday. He could self finance some of it as Kerry did in 2003, but it is likely a lost cause.

17. I didn't see the other threads.
And I don't go to Fudge.

And I could see Hill pulling out early rather than watch herself get ground into the mud, if she has information (e.g. internal polling & focus group work) that convinces her it's hopeless.

23. I'll send you some scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Why would she seriously. She has a 103 lead already. She will pick up California, New York, Minnesota, Mass. And goodness knows how many southern states. Obama is going to have to scramble to make up the deficite he has already. We all know the media just loves to PICK THEIR OWN HEADLINES. And Scrambled eggs for brains is so low in the polls himself now he is trying to manufacture a conterversary....of course Obama Kissy kisses are messing their pants right now wanting it to be the truth so bad they all ran out and bought a gross of depends.
