I just renewed my membership to both the state and national parties today

I just renewed my membership to both the state and national parties today
I'm candidate-less, but still a Democrat. And we need to win in 2008.

So $58 to John Kerry, because I know he will spend it on Democrats who need it, as he already showed in 2006. God knows he doesn't need it for his Senate campaign.

$60 to the DNC, because that's the level of giving they asked for as the optimal level for this election year.

$25 to the State party, which is shared with the county.

And I WILL be campaigning for whoever wins the primaries.

The only difference the winner will make is to determine what look I will have on my face AS I campaign. I don't plan on being happy if it's either Obama or Hillary.

But I will also give that person the "Kerry treatment" in an attempt to warm up to whoever it is I'm not already. Sure worked well with the good Senator.

Just thought I'd share.
