4. Actually, it's pretty good
among whites. And it's mind boggling in every other specific.

10. He'd be leading among whites if Edwards weren't in the race.
Edwards being from the Carolinas (NC really, but having lived awhile in SC I think), he's got a local loyalty.

16. You may well be correct.
All I remember is that he was born in one, and lived in the other for awhile, NC most recently. You're probably right.

17. There aren't any. Nobody is polling Nevada, not since early December.
I guess they assume that since the Nevada Democratic party is practically owned by Harry Reid and his son, who are major Clinton backers, then it's a foregone conclusion. Still, I personally wouldn't make any assumptions.

6. I suspect this will get even more lopsided after tomorrow
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 05:40 PM by tishaLA
After Sen Obama wins two consecutive contests, the shift will get even more pronounced. This is especially bad news for Johnny Reid Edwards, it seems to me.

edited for word choice

8. Edward's poll numbers
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 05:42 PM by cmaff05
I'm surprised at John Edwards numbers here. This is a state he won in 2004. If New Hampshire isn't his deathbed, if these numbers stick, South Carolina will be.
