Clinton heightens terrorism rhetoric

DOVER, N.H. – Facing the prospect of defeat in tomorrow’s primary, Hillary Clinton just made her strongest suggestion yet that the next president may face a terrorist attack – and that she would be the best person to handle it.

She pointed out that the day after Gordon Brown took office as the British prime minister, there was a failed attempt at a double bombing in London and Glasgow.

“I don’t think it was by accident that Al Qaeda decided to test the new prime minister,” she said. “They watch our elections as closely as we do, maybe more closely than some of our fellows citizens do…. Let’s not forget you’re hiring a president not just to do what a candidate says during the election, you want a president to be there when the chips are down.”

1. No mention that those "Al-Qaeda" attacks were hardly top grade
you know, the "Al-Qaeda for hire" people are giving some lousy performances lately- you think Senator Clinton would give us credit for a few more brain cells than that.

13. Her point is we need a qualified president
She is right. The president has to be ready from day one. We can't afford another Bush Jr. Whether or not Obama is ready to be president is another matter but Clinton makes a legitimate point that is politically smart for her.

14. The qualifications for President are clearly spelled out in the Constitution
The only other criteria is whether we can trust a candidate with the Presidency, and that's a judgment call that each voter must make.

15. How about we just keep George Bush/Cheney
since he is the King of the politics of fear. Actually, why is she choosing to use fear, or what I mean is, what idiot is advising her to. Doesn't she know most Americans find it insulting to their intelligence.

Sometimes I get this feeling, honestly, that she's someone that knows me personally and knows Exactly how to insult me! It's crazy, because as a woman I've actually always been biased towards her, but it's like she wants to drive me away.

I must come to the conclusion that she does not want my vote.
