. . .the Clinton's have pissed me off as of late but I'm still in their corner. I'm glad Obama is taking off and hope he runs away with this, HOWEVER the folks taking pot shots at the Clinton's are pissing me off. Folks, I'm pulling for Obama but she can still very well be our nominee.

In Presidential politics, nihil sanctum est. Her camp's fallen apart as of late, but it was pretty smart through most the campaign.

4. Some of us feel passionately about Hillary
Some are for her.

I am not. I think that she's just as dangerous to the future of our country as another 4 years of Bush would be. Am I wrong? Maybe so, maybe not, but I'm not going to start supporting her, or wishing her well because of a few alligator tears.

Thats exactly what she's hoping for.

8. I don't have respect for her campaign with people like Penn and Shaheen
She has run nothing but a dirty, low down campaign. And people supporting her have been involved with some nasty push polling in Iowa. So I do delight in her campaign's self-destruction.

19. and, of course, you DO respect Clinton's low and dirty campaign. Yeah I thought so.
I'm kidding.

I just think that the technique of asking a question and then immediately following it with "Yeah, I thought so!" is so fucking immature.

28. No, I don't respect the hiring of the guy.
But then again, I think every candidate has done something that I don't respect (I'd have to dig pretty deep to find something Kucinich has done that I disrespect, though). They are politicians, after all.

Although I was pretty satisfied with Obama's response when he asked about the McClurkin thing.

you about Kucinich.

He is the candidate who most represents me.

Original Poster: It is lies and slander to say that Obama never responed.

You are supposed to be FOR something right. And you stoop to bold-faced INFLAMATIVE lying.

Sad. Depressing.

the whole shitpot stinks to high heaven and leaves me wondering if anybody in this country knows what integrity is. How anybody can say they respect the Clintons after the vulgar campaign they have run is beyond me,

13. The media always tracks ofter the one they think is currently winning
and trashes everyone else. Barack very well might run away with this nomination, but it's no certainty! I don't think Edwards is washed up either. I watched so damn many shows tonight I can't remember which one had the conversation that there has only been ONE caucus so far, and big whoop, by
Wed there will have been a total TWO! One very slightly populated state, and one very small one! Sit back...take a deep breath...and let's let the primaries play out.

And to be clear since I just tore into some Clinton supporters. Her demise does not give you free reign to bash on Obama blaming her demise on the media and insinuating Obama is naive for not seeing what is around the corner.

There are a few Obama supporters here who I respect and they always are positive about their candidate while not being overly nasty and freeperish towards other candidates. Recommended.

24. You know this thread is about paying respect to Clinton, not an excuse for folks to bash Obama. . .
. . .and as for the coronation the same could have been said about Clinton. Let's not make this thread a pissing match and keep it positive. There is a lot of bandwith being wasted on negativity lets leave this thread alone.

25. As long as Obama gets 90% of the corporate MSM coverage........
and 100% of the RW rethug neocon endorsements from ALL the BIG NAME NEOCON pundits you're going to have a pissing match. Obama has some serious issues that are inconsistent with being a progressive and it is interesting so many are willing to look past IT!

33. For much of Obama's background, there are problems that so far have ...
gotten a pass from the media and his own supporters. Should Hillary and John quit...the spotlight will be focused on him.

Please note that the Repugs will also get a pass.

Looks like Obama will get NH. If he does, he probably will take SC. I feel that Hillary may up and quit with 3 losses in a row. Edwards may squirm, but will not do well in further primaries.

Is Obama secure enough to take the onslaught from the media?
