I wonder if George W Bush understands why they're doing that.

1. Bush and understands in the same sentence?
Without a sarcasm tag?

Oh that's rich. :-)

2. Remarkable observation! When boasting about Governor experience - they always
refer to Raygun for some strange reason (last might forum on Faux)

3. that is the strongest evidence to date...
...that the GOP is NOT eager to go up against him. Any Democrat, I believe, can beat any of their candidates comfortably. But if they thought Obama would be the easiest target, they wouldn't all be falling over themselves to be "change agents" all of a sudden, too. That "wind" Obama keeps talking about is blowin' around them, too, LOL. They are genuinely scared. And they should be.

(disclaimer - I should make this my sigline - I am NOT an Obama / Clinton / Edwards supporter. I am undecided :) )

4. The more things change...
It's all bullshit. Not a single one of them will change anything bigger than the monograms on the WH napkins.

5. I like to know just what in the hell they are changing....

Maybe Obama means he changed from Oprah back to his crew.

6. You and me both. Change? Change what? No one seems to
be addressing the fundamental issue of what changes are necessary. I have a long list, but I'm not running for anything. I wish every single one of them who yabbers on about "change" would get specific about what they intend to do.

It reminds me of one of those feel good mega-churches where the preacher talks in vague generalities about how much God loves everybody and how you should love yourself. People flock to those places because everything is simple and easy.

The kind of changes required to set this country back on course are going to be hard, tough, difficult. Repuke ass is going to have to be kicked forcefully and repeatedly. We need a candidate who is up to the task, who points out what's gone wrong and what's going to be necessary to fix it. We need strong medicine. What we're being sold is snake oil.
