I see nothing wrong with Hillary's emotional moment.
Or Edwards' response. Both are legitimate.

3. Not an HRC fan but the reaction to this is so way over the top
Sheesh... she had a little catch in her voice talking about stuff that meant a lot to her... it happens to me (a 63 year old male CEO) all the time when I really care about something

4. this is ONLY my opinion, but I took it as a response
to so many things. SHe has forever been seen as too scripted and robotic and not friendly. On top of that, Edwards was saying "This time, it's personal!" like a dubbed voice over for an action sequel. THat resonated with people so she kinda sorta shamelessly 'borrowed' it from him. Kinda like everyone coming late to the "TIME FOR CHANGE" party.

Nothing is funnier than seeing the embodiment of "ESTABLISHMENT GOP AMERICA" Mitt Romney declaring himself an agent of change.

anyway...that is my opinion. feel free to discuss, but I do believe she rechanneled her fatigue and frustration at this chance slipping away into a brilliant piece of agitprop.

7. Actually, that's the only part that bothered me. She took Edwards effective quote...
...and used it almost as if the tears were forced. But who knows. The tears 1)could be fabricated 2)could be a moment of sorrow as John Kerry had after the election because she knows her chances are fading 3)it could be genuine which raises the question of why she's suppressed her authentic self all along.

5. None of us have ever been a candidate for prez,
and we can't imagine how tired they all must be. Again: we do not KNOW how she or the others feel, but it couldn't be good. They must all (well, except Thompson) be at wit's end and utterly exhausted.

Can we cut her some slack, at least on this?

6. Yes, there should be no "Hindenburg in a pants suit waiting for a spark" comments.
That would not be nice.

Actually I do feel for them all, having had very long work days before with huge amounts of hurry up and wait, crappy food and nasty weather, just falling into bed exhausted and not being able to sleep for the cramps in various limbs.
