Why didn't Obama's worker just drill O'Reilly....

In the great dreams of do overs, why didn't Obama's 6' 8" campaign worker just drill that pointed nose asshole right in the nose? Why!?!?! And what sucks is he wouldn't even have been arrested for it - O'Lielly actually committed a battery against him, not once, but twice!

1. Why would he lower himself to Billo's level?

2. Because.....it would have felt soooooo gooooood....

Hell, and he could have been on all the tv shows and said he was worried for Obama's safety and possibly we could have been free of this crank for a long time.

Now, what would be grand is for Obama to announce to FauxNews that he will not appear on their channel because of crap like this. Imagine the hottest property in politics telling them to kiss off. That at least might put a little heat under that assholes behind. Besides, why should he go on that channel anyway? Does anyone think he can persuade a FauxNews viewer?

3. Why bother? It's just Bill O'Reilly.

In the clip I saw, they guy was professional and simply smiled, which must have humiliated O'Reilly even more. Anything else would've been an over-reaction, ripe for the news. Plus, his non-reaction only magnifies O'Reilly's childish behavior and reinforces that O'Reilly just isn't worth a reaction.

He handled it quite well, IMO.

Even better was when Obama went back to shake O'Reilly's hand and say hello. O'Reilly came away with nothing but a reinforced persona of a petulant child and Obama came away the gracious candidate, willing to say hello to someone on the other side.
