5. The point was not that it was news
but that it gives an opportunity to post comments to a larger audience

3. One look at Edwards and you'll find out he's got more apologies than a confessional
He doesn't know what he stands for anymore. He picks the most liberal position he can find and then the easy to convince lap it up.

10. Edwards is the one that should worry about scrutiny...
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 03:00 PM by SaveElmer
So far he has been able to obscure his sorry record of flip flopping...if he gains any traction (which I don't think he will)...it will all hopefully see the light of day...

12. That's what I was about to say
He says he's been vetted, but that was 4 years ago, before his many changes. He has yet to be challenged on any of that.

13. The media has reported on that many times
There was a piece hitting Edwards on this in a Boston newspaper just yesterday. Weird how a distant third place candidate has gotten more critical press than Obama...

Geez, if this is the best they have on Obama, we should definitely pick him as our candidate.

19. Now that Edwards sees Obama as the front runner
Clinton isn't the only one saying that Obama will be tested. Politics is so predictable sometimes. Any Democratic will be tested, the only queston is when.

21. He just spoke the truth
Once Obama is considered the front runner, he will get more scrutiny than before. Actually, I hope
it's true - better now than later, before he becomes our candidate. True for
all of them, we need to know everything possible, good or bad in order to make our decision.
I support Edwards and hope they bring out his record also. The Republican Machine and the MSM
will go after any Democrat who is the nominee the the general election. At that point, there's no
turning back for any of us.
