Clinton on Obama 'fairy tale'
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 06:08 PM by ProSense
Video: Clinton on Obama 'fairy tale'

"I have repeatedly defended President Bush against the left on Iraq, even though I think he should have waited until the U.N. inspections were over," Clinton said in a Time magazine interview that will hit newsstands Monday, a day before the publication of his book "My Life."

<...>

Clinton, who was interviewed Thursday, said he did not believe that Bush went to war in Iraq over oil or for imperialist reasons but out of a genuine belief that large quantities of weapons of mass destruction remained unaccounted for.

<...>

"That's why I supported the Iraq thing. There was a lot of stuff unaccounted for," Clinton said in reference to Iraq and the fact that U.N. weapons inspectors left the country in 1998.

4. A pathetic-looking hypocrite
who feels guilty about dragging his wife through the mud ... and he's afraid he won't be able to deliver the White House as compensation. He's so yesterday ...

10. and Bill will be served papers ...
I predict that if she doesn't end up in the WH, he'll get the Chappacqua (sp) house and she'll keep the one in D.C. until she's out of the Senate.

5. I don't think that was his point...
Edited on Tue Jan-08-08 06:15 PM by seasonedblue
he wasn't condemning Obama for agreeing with Bush, he was actually saying that Obama and Clinton have very similar voting records, and that fact has been distorted. So was he wrong about that?

8. The point is that he's a damn liar when it comes to his
own record.

Remember "I opposed the Iraq war from the start?"

17. Devastating post. Shows clearly how Bill will say whatever he has to depending on which way the wind
is blowing at the time.

"I have repeatedly defended President Bush against the left on Iraq" - and this guy wants back in the White House so bad, he even said he was against the war from the start!

This is devastating to the Clinton legacy, exposing Bill like this.

18. They just said on MSNBC that he is now complaining about the date of
the NH Primary attacking those people who are in charge of it. Didn't give them enough time between Iowa and NH. Also, saying the media did not vet the other candidates properly. He definitly is not helping.
