I am starting to think that as terrible as 8 years of Bush have been, maybe there will be good come
out of it in the long run.
Look at Congress, now held by us.
Record turnout (again), and apparently mass numbers of new voters.
Young voters coming out in record numbers.
A huge Democratic surge seems to be taking place. I can't place this on any one candidate. Yes many are drawn to Obama or HIllary or Edwards. But I believe many are sick of Bush and want something different. Disgust with Bush could usher in a stronger Dem majority and truly advance our causes. It could also cement in the minds of young voters that Republicans are not for their values and Dems are.
