Lowering expectations is politics 101. Obama failed to do that and MSM burned him by raising them
He should have fought against the hype, it's basic politics. Clinton knew that, you didn't hear her predict victory once after Iowa, at least I didn't.

If Obama had played the game the right way and won even by a few points it would have been huge but he let Sludge and the rest of the MSM fuck up his game with their crazy predictions.

13. My take is that Obama started to believe the hype
and the adulation of his supporters went to his head.

Not uncommon, particularly with younger, less experienced candidates who've been elevated prematurely to positions of unearned prominence.
