1. Somewhat of a repudiation of Huckabee
And more evidence that the GOP isn't unified.

6. Hard to say...
But he will likely lose in SC. GWB wrote the book on how to do that in 2000.

Of all of the GOP candidates, he's the one I worry about most since the media tends to swoon over him for no good reason.

10. Not that much in itself, because he has a special relationship with NH.
If its indicitive of a larger trend though, it means we need Hillary. I am confident Obama can beat Romney or Huckabee, but McCain brings us a different type of race.

11. I Called This...
over two months ago that McCain would surge forward and eventually win the nomination. It means that the Republicans have chosen experience. We had that chance and blew it. This is going to make the general election a real battle that we may very well lose.

12. It means the Republicans are in big trouble.
Romney probably wins in Michigan, maybe Rudi in FL. They'll be fighting all the way to the convention, burning cash they can't spend on the Congressional races and, I believe, sharpening the animosities between the key constituencies along the way. DU notwithstanding, I think most Democrats will happily accept Obama, Hillary, or John as our nominee. Any of them can and will lead the tidal wave that the American people want in Washington.
