is the way he took credit for universal health care in Massachusetts. That is a great thing, don't get me wrong...but he has gone on record as saying that he wouldn't want to implement the same plan on a national level as president. Presumably this is to cater to the "base" that doesn't want "socialized" medicine, but I think it is a real shame.

Individual mandates might not be ideal, but it would be a start and he made it work in his state. Now he is taking credit for it and walking away from it at the same time.

Then again, if he were to win the nomination he would probably change gears on the issue again. It would be nice to actually hear a Republican come out and say that access to health care matters and is not going to be fixed with tax credits.
