disappointed, dismayed, baffled
I don't know how people vote for somebody who did all the shit Hillary did in this campaign. Trying to smear a black man as a drug dealer crosses you off my list. Permanently. And the list of the shit the Clintons have pulled goes on and on for years.

Somebody please explain the concept of ethics to me because I don't think anybody has any.

I like Obama and Hillary, but Obama's hope theme is inspirational.

I am shocked that he did not do so well tonight, but am impressed that Hillary managed to come from so far behind.

I wish them both well.

9. Not particularly surprised it is this closed. The polls were really weird for NH.
Between McCain needing the independents as well and the MA and NH establishment behind Clinton (those who had endorsed somebody at least), there was no way it would be that large an advantage to Obama.

Now, the results are so close he still can win, but by a small margin.

You're saying a tiny obama win would be great for clinton based on the past 5 days. for almost a year before this NH was supposed to be her "firewall". She loses or barely ekes out a win, and that's excellent. bullshit.

Even if Clinton carries the state, it's going to be a photo finish.

It doesn't mean a whole lot, except that this is a very tight race and will not be over until Super Tuesday.

38. Not surprised
I figured it was a long shot, but thought we'd emerge with a 3-4 point win over Team Clinton.
But remember,it's not over yet.

The forces of power are far too entrenched to let anyone like Obama or Edwards have a seat at the table without a fight. Part of the problem is we still have Obama and Edwards running against The Machine and each other. South Carolina and Nevada will be the crucible. After that either Edwars or Obama must go and support the other. I'd prefer Obama, but I'd support Edwards.

32. As a NH voter, this is the saddest day of my political life.
We are embarrassed of our state today. Over an hour of crying for me. Im not sure I can take it anymore. My state is hopeless and everyone we know is disheartened.

Id have been happy with either Obama or Edwards or Richardson. But a few tears makes a nominee. Heres to hoping the rest of the country is wiser than NH.

34. Shocked, honestly didn't expect Hillary to lose by double digits but
I also didn't expect her to win or run such a tight race. I predicted 4 to 5 point difference to friends. The election process is fun and I will vote, proudly, for whichever candidate gets the nod. I like Hillary so it's not a problem for me. Guess we will know after super Tuesday. Still I did expect Obama to win though.

35. Not surprised or worried.
Of the four early primary states New Hampshire is the one Hillary was most likely to win. I always thought she would and was surprised by the recent polls. The vote totals are close so its not a decisive victory like Iowa was for Obama. Obama will come back to win South Carolina and the nomination.

51. I don't think anyone will sweep super tuesday.
The end for Hillary will be when she only barely wins Arkansas. There's a small chance she might even lose it by a few points. I know people still love Clinton but a majority of Arkansas primary voters are black and black people are finally breaking for Obama in large numbers. Clinton will win Arkansas by no more than 10 points. Obama will win Illinois by 20 points or more.

Either way, South Carolina is more important than New Hampshire this year.
