2. a lot of college kids who are generally supportive of Obama
but I don't know how he'd make up that 3% deficit he's in.

3. These are Student Towns - Could Close Gap by 3000 Votes
These are university towns which have disproportionately young electorates - some estimates I have seen suggest these two places alone could see Obama close the gap with Clinton by 3,000 votes+ (she is leading by 4,000 at present). Basically if Obama is still to win he needs to carry these two places convincingly (and hope for a high turnout).

7. I don't see how that would change the outcome, though. That's 2 cities, compared
with the rest of the state. I don't see how that would push it over the top.

Bummer.

9. UNH - First day of classes: January 22nd!
http://www.unh.edu/registrar/miscinfo/academic_cal.html

I can't easily find a calendar for Dartmouth for some reason, but "look," (to use an Obamaism) Dartmouth is a pretty small school, isn't it? Isn't there some quote about "It's a small place, but there are those that love it?"

There will be no flip-flops and pajama-pants cavalry that will ride in and save Obama at the last moment. They're just not there.
