7.  Yeah, like "change" was copyrighted. All the candidates steal from each other.
The "bring us together" bit was used George W. Bush 2000 and by Nixon in 1968. Who Nixon got it from I don't know, but it's highly unlikely he coined it.

There's nothing new in politics.

I think I've heard this slogan before and not sure where it came from.
