Shattering Clinton aura of inevitability was the best thing that could have happened to candidacy
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 12:02 AM by Proud2BAmurkin
Iowa's huge upset and the "finding my voice" remark was the end of the whole stereotype of someone who thought they were entitled to win. If she went into the general election without a challenge people would hate that about her and think some kind of political "machine" won it for her. She should thank Obama for making her work for it. Now she gets a new aura of humble scrapper and fighter.

1. ummm.....she's only just matched what he has done
there is a LONG, LONNNNGGGG ways to go. If he wins Nevada OR South Carolina....if they split on Feb 5...it could be very interesting.

So your sitting on laurels is kind of funny to read.

2. Shattering "the wave" probably is a good thing for Obama too.
Now the fun begins.

4. Yes, I agree
Nobody is "inevitable", and those who "think" they are will learn it the hard way!

3. Do we love politics or what?
It's got all the human drama anyone could ever want.

5. I agree, and that's exactly what I said after Iowa

Wish I could find the link, but advanced search is disabled.

Basically I think losing in Iowa and coming back in NH makes her success seem more deserved rather than presumed.

7. It will force the debate into an examination of their...
schematic for change, and their record of action in the past...hopefully...

We need to get off appearances and hype, and focus on issues...
