I've been a political junkie my entire life. I've never ever seen such blatant misogyny and terrible journalistic ethics, ever.

If this mentally ill creep was as racist as he is anti-woman, he'd be out on his ass like Imus.

He should not be on television. He's an insult to women everywhere. He's a truly disgusting human being.

2. Only problem with that is that Imus is back.
And probably making more money.

I'd rather not repeat that with Matthews!

36. He might be back but he isn't on basic cable TV
And from what I hear his new show is a train wreck. He lost his syndication and I don't think the radio show is carried anywhere besides NY and Boston. I understand he still is on TV but on the Down Home Channel or some such shit at cable channel 847 or something.

I settle for that fate to befall tweety as well.

3. new to Chris M.
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 12:06 AM by JoeIsOneOfUs
I first started watching clips after he said Biden might get 3rd in Iowa, other nice things about Biden. I thought, hey, who's this guy?

Then he interviewed Biden on Pakistan and a few minutes later said, well, this news certainly helps Clinton.

And I heard some of his raving about Obama changing history.

I can't figure out WHO he supports, but I think he is mostly going after big drama?

10. Who does Tweety support? Easy
He supports nobody, he ONLY supports a male candidate that he can drool over his muscles or crotch or general "manliness" or supposed "manliness"

As there's no candidate like that THIS time, I suspect Tweety ain't supporting anyone.

15. Well, if the vote was really a protest of the MSM treatment of her..
and Matthews was named specifically.. and if HRC is really the corporate candidate and is who "they" want to win.. then in a Rovian kind of way, he just did the bidding of his corporate masters by keeping her in the race. Not likely they'll do anything but tell him to keep on bashing Hillary. Matthews + Diebold = HRC Nom = Republican win in November.

And that's saying something since Brokaw is a RW tool.

But honestly, being school by Brokaw on HIS network...that's gotta leave a mark.

Tweets is headed for FOX. Mark my words.

24. Its not just women and its not just Tweety. They were all disgusting to Edwards as well.
Tweety first refused to mention him, said they didn't "know" where he was(Meanwhile CNN announces John to speak soon) Then suggests he should "drop out"says he is "finished". He got 17% and came in third! Meanwhile Tweety says Huckabee is viable with 12% .Tweety doesn't really seem to like any of the Dem candidates! But yes.He needs to go! I agree. He used to be decent .Now he is just bizarre.

most despicable way.

I love JE and I would love to hear more from him

But for some reason, he has been voted off the island.

Something MUST change about this entire process.

41. She nailed Elizabeth Hasselbeck on The View in '04 too!
Hasselbeck kept implying that Elizabeth was a bad mother to be accompanying John on the campaign trial, when they had small children. Hasselbeck was sitting there pregnant at the time, a total hypocrite, and Elizabeth pointed that out without hiding the contempt in her voice. Snapped at her in an unfriendly tone, and Hasselbeck finally shut-up. Push Elizabeth and she pushes back.

29. Buy NBC
He seems to have some kind of an "in" with the brass there.

His ratings don't justify his longevity. He doesn't do anything for their image as a real news network.

He's like Tucker. There is no rational justification for his having a show. But he keeps on and on.

42. I've watched Tweety since Bush got in office and at first
his loud voice hurt my head, but then I started liking something about his laugh and that twinkle he would get in his eyes every now and then. Well, I sure as hell don't see him like that anymore. For the past year or more I would try and swear off Tweety. I would say it was a love/hate relationship. I can't say for certain, because I'm bad a breaking really bad habits, but this past week Tweety has literally turned my stomach. I'm afraid he's gonna spread whatever creepiness he has over to Keith every time they put them together.

All Chris Matthews wants is to be political bigshot. Maybe someone who can make or break a candidate. He also wants everyone to come on his show so I can understand being a little two-faced. Hillary refuses to go Hardball. Hillary doesn't care for the press and it shows that the press doesn't really care for her. So, to Tweety, Hillary is fair game in saying any nasty thing he can think of. He's like a spoiled little boy and I think I might just have had enough. I'm in control of the remote. I was so hooked on watching Hardball at 5pm that I would plan my day around it. That's what kind of hold he and his odd talk-fest had on me. My blood pressure can't stand it anymore.

Again, this past week has opened my eyes wider than ever on how totally ridiculous most of these pundits are. We wouldn't be on this board if we weren't all political junkies of some kind so I know we need our political discussions from somewhere. Oh please, Rachel Maddow, David Shuster...anyone who uses reason and logic when they have something to say.

Sorry, what was the subject. Oh yeah.. NO MORE TWEETY.
