1. Walk in the park.
Overconfident? Sure.

But, I like those odds.

3. It Will Be A Different Kind Of Race For Sure...
It's a no lose for Obama...God forbid they lose he's the presumptive nominee in 2012 and if they win he's the presumptive nominee for 2016...

5. Agreed.
Tack on a strongly Democratic Congress and "change" will become much more than just everybody's campaign slogan.

7. It's A Bit Risky
But if they finish one and two I don't see how you can deny either one a place on the ticket without ripping apart the party...

11. The only question would be if the non-nominee would accept the position.
That being said, taking the VP position might be the easiest path to the presidency.

- talk about fantasies. These campaigns aren't about ideas or positions, they're about personalities.

15. MCain Is A Formidable Candidate But He's Really Old...
I also don't think Colin Powell wants to be the token African American that stops Obama...It's also transparent...

And Powell's pro choice and pro affirmative action... I'd like to see the debate between him and McCain...

20. I don't see McCain using the conventional criteria to pick his VP
geographical balance, outside the beltway, different wing of the party yadda yadda.

He'll ask Powell and as far as I can tell Powell has always been there when the GOP has called. As for his age, unless he just starts blatantly losing it or has a genuine health scare, I don't see how it matters.

6. I can't imagine Powell overcoming the speech at the UN.
It would be replayed more times than the "Dean Scream."

17. She's in it to win it. That's all you need to remember. She'll choose
based on polling, statistics, state/regional factors, someone who's willing to be a sycophant and won't upstage her or Bill, etc. What the party might prefer (such as giving Obama a leg up in 2016) doesn't mean jack shit to her.

21. She will have no choice. She's boxed in.
Unless Obama gives a shermanesque "I don't want the Vice Presidency" speech, she will be forced to offer him the Veep slot.
