Can we at least all celebrate Rudy's downfall?
I mean honestly I'm enjoying this about 10 times as much as I enjoyed his initial senate run against Clinton where everyone thought he was going to strut in and trounce her in the polls but then were all aghast when polls showed that they liked her and hated him.

So now even after the whole "America's Mayor" bullshit of the past 7 years, I'm reveling in watching this facist serial philanderer go down in flames politically.

Anyone else? Maybe it's just more accute because I'm from the NYC outlying area and had to endure watching 8 years of his idiocy and police state antics.

21. Bigger than Huckabee, much bigger. Smaller than Romney, who blanketed the airwaves.
Significant, though--from his LITHPING holiday message to his FEARFEARFEAR ad, he was on tee vee a LOT.

Now someone needs to "turn the hose on him" to clean him off!

11. Downfall of what - not spending hardly any money in Iowa or NH
Sure he threw a few grand around but Giuliani said he was specifially focusing on Super Tuesday.

14. And you think that will work?
If it does I'll be the first one on here admitting I'm wrong.

But I'm fairly confident that his candidacy is going nowhere, which considering he was the national front runner and was fluffed incessantly by the media is all the sweeter.

Not that I'm happy about any of them winning but he was banking his candidacy on Florida where he is currently running 4th.

22. I would like to believe that but I'll reserve judgement until after Super Tuesday
Florida probably has more electorial votes than New Hampshire and Iowa combined and Giuliani is dumping a ton of money in that state.

I would like to think that America has wised-up to this thug but we shall see

18. Not yet-- he's not out till he's out. With a stake in...
his heart and grilled till well-done. Fuckers like him have a nasty habit of rising from the dead.

Super Tuesday is his last hope, so celebrate on Wednesday if all goes well.

19. But who are Dumb Voters going to vote for?
I've noticed that the dumbest people I know (both at work and at home) love Rudy. "But he was the Hero of 9/11!" and then when you explain how he fucked up (command center, radios, etc), their eyes glaze over, and they repeat "but he was inspirational".

I figured he had the Dumb Vote locked up!!!

20. I can picture him slinking back to his crypt.
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 10:14 AM by seasat
As daylight comes, the Ghouliani crawls slowly back to the cellar of ground zero. Pale and haggard, ashes surround his lips from feeding off the victims of the terrible tragedy. He drags a soiled and sweat stained replica Twin Towers flag (with the appropriate made in China label). A pink frilly brassiere can be be seen under his shirt beneath his battered flag pin. He turns and screams against the morning, "Curse you all! The next 9/11, you will regret 9/11ing this 9/11 icon. I'll be back on the next 9/11." A newspaper headline floats gently down the steps and he sees that a Democrat has won the election. He lets out a whimper and sinks into dust.

23. He's not done yet
He has to be pretty happy that Mittens didn't win either New Hampshire or Iowa and have momentum as we move forward to Super Tuesday. I don't think Huckabee is a threat in Florida, McCain isn't either IMO, that's Rudy's state to lose.
