1. Without paper trail machines this is getting to be pointless, especially in November...

2. This is a caucus. They stand around and count heads. Very democratic.
Just like Iowa. Maybe Obama will have a huge blowout like Iowa and he will be the comeback kid.

The only paper trail will be a bunch of handwritten yellow sheets of paper like in Iowa and maybe videos by c-span.

3. Hillary is better organized
in NV though, right? NH firms that up. I'd say she wins and it won't matter by how how much so she can go on stronger to the next round. It might not be actual voter momentum but it is going to take a lot to stop her present advantage.

8. nope. she's not. and Obama has both the Culinary workers union
and SEIU endorsements. They'll be doing a lot of GOTV among their members and other dems. She's lost much of her advantage in NV.

9. Then it'll be competitive
Thanks for the update. I am beginning to relish the real contest which has everyone including the putative "fixers" and pundits guessing. Here's to people power and wisdom.

4. Any news on the Culinary Union's recommendation?
That is a factor in Nevada.

7. That's very good for him.
With that endorsement, I'm thinking he has a good chance in Nevada as well. It will be interesting.

6. 60,000 member CWU endorses Obama
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 03:53 PM by LVZ
The two large union endorsements, the SEIU and Culinary Workers Union, are very important in Nevada.

The Nevada CWU has 60,000 members, more than the consensus predicted turnout for the Nevada caucuses.

Those December predictions from local political pundits, however, may be too low now that the significance of caucus results has increased.
