"I hate her. I hate her. All that she stands for." Chris Matthews speaking of Hillary Clinton-LINK!
The outrage is no put-on. Aboard a recent shuttle flight to Washington, Matthews spotted New York Sen. Hillary Clinton. Earlier in the day, he'd been complaining privately that, as first lady, she'd rejected a health-care plan that would allow nurses to give care to public school students because it was "too narrow-bore."

"In other words, 'I'm not going to get enough credit for this,' " Matthews told a colleague in the cafeteria of MSNBC headquarters in North Jersey. "Madonna won't get flowers brought to her. I hate her. I hate her. All that she stands for."

How bad is it going to hurt when Hillary is 44?

I hear morphine dulls the pain:

8. Depends on What He Says
I'm not *convinced* that Obama will be a good President, and I'm open to criticism of him. I'm merely convinced that Clinton and Edwards have a very-high likelihood of being yet another in a 28-year chain of awful Presidents - Obama at least has a reasonable chance of being good.

In the however many years I have watched Mathews his criticisms
always seem to be against the leading Democratic candidate no matter who it is.

Conversely until it became totally embarrassing to endorse and excuse bush he spent several years kissing his butt and signing his praises.

It's ok to have a bias as long as you reveal it but if you have a bias and don't reveal it and treat the subject of your bias like shit while pretending you're unbiased you're a piece of shit yourself...

28. I suppose that point is taken but I thought
Chris Matthews was the television equivalent of an Op-ed writer. So I always assumed he did have a bias and it is obvious in the questions he asks, who at whatever time he is biased towards or against.

However your point is valid, although "shit" is not a word I'd use to describe him or even Hillary (and I am not fan of hers).

6. Since some opinion shows the vote for her was a "backlash" from coverage by Matthews, et al..
then do you think he needs to be on the air or off the air? Seriously.. they're STILL playing the freakin tender moment. Matthews will end up being his own worst self-fulfilling prophecy by getting HRC nominated out of pity.

10. I think mathews is nuts
I think this proves it...doesn't the guy have anything better to do than foam at the mouth over the Clintons 24/7?

He and Limbaugh should get a room...or invest in a timeshare together they could spend their golden years throwing darts at Clinton family photos.

Pathetic IMO

17. Hill is not my choice but she is not the worst thing that could
happen to this country yet absent a miracle or an extraordinary happening it is statistically impossible for her to win the presidency and I believe that is why corporate media are having a wet dream over her becoming the dem candidate and why they are pissing their pants over Edwards who would hands down win a national election and give the airwaves back to the people to whom they belong.

21. He proclaims to hate her
but he "melted", as it was reported by the MSM, when she patted him on the cheek and hugged him. I still think that Tweety's main problem with Hillary is not political, I think that he got the hots for her and is frustrated that he can't bed her.

27. Listen, he may hate Hillary, but his first love is politics...
I'll never forget him basically soiling himself during Bill's first rally for Kerry (after the heart surgery)..."This is sheer political excitement!"

It's scary how much he loves power struggles and politics.

He needs to take up yoga or jogging or something. I really think he's going to spontaneously combust on-air one of these days if he doesn't find an outlet...

22. What's wrong with hating a politician, particularly a democrat...
...when you feel they've torpedoed an action that would benefit the poor because they wouldn't have gotten enough for it politically?

If he seriously feels that she's more interested in her political stature than her constituents, he SHOULD hate her!

I personally think that comment is funny as hell.
