14. God, he's just terrible, isn't he?
I'm in the "Please, God, don't let it be Hillary" camp and even I find him unbearable when he spins against her. At least with Fox News they usually establish the facts before they start spinning. How long before he starts pointing out that "61% of New Hampshire Democrats voted against Hillary." It would be different if there was anybody around who'd call him on his bullshit, but so far only Rachel Maddow has even subtly pointed out what a freakish double standard he applies to ever.

20. It is a factor for consideration.
When voting in a caucus, it's out there for the world to see, and that tends to invoke our better nature. But behind the curtain in the voting booth where nobody can see, the Black Tax weighs in. There is historical precedent for this phenomenon.

27. I don't think race is a big issue in New Hampshire...
Since the numbers for Obama ended up being what the polls predicted and the ones for Hillary were elevated, seems to me there were a lot of late deciders who went with Hillary ~ probably because of the treatment she was getting. Even Edwards treated her badly.

50. I'm not convinced it was not an issue.
I thought the interview with Barack's grannie in Kenya was fabulous, but wonder if it scared the bejeezus out of very white New Hampshire. You never know how last minute images like that will affect pulling the lever. Well, I guess we're about to find out how this experiment unfolds.

And the name of the band is The Flatlanders, not "Flatliners" (even tho that could have been appropriate in times past.

If you like lines such as that, try anything by Terry Allen (Pedal Steal, Smoking the Dummy, etc).

Try reading some of the interviews. Terry is one of a kind.

28. the problem here is that you're talking about facts.
Facts don't matter. This is a matter of perception. Clinton won 39%-37%. That's a whopping big shift from her polling 10 points down days before the contest. Momentum here is entirely psychological and it doesn't matter that Iowa is a larger state and more representative of the country as a whole. Getting the same number of delegates is only a tie if you assume that the nomination process is intended to be a fair representation of Democrats across the country as a whole. Or, for that matter, if it's designed to be a fair period. It's not. In fact, it's not even designed at all.

39. That picture reminds me of something
Little Jack Horner
Little Jack Horner sat in a corner,
Eating a Christmas pie;
He put in his thumb and pulled out a plum,
And said, "What a good boy am I!"

History of Little Jack Horner
According to legend, Little Jack Horner was actually Thomas Horner, steward to the Abbot of Glastonbury during the reign of King Henry VIII. Rumor had it that the inquisitive king would soon be reaching for some Glastonbury holdings. The nervous Abbot, hoping to appease the royal appetite, sent the king a special gift: a pie containing twelve deeds to manor houses. On his way to London, the not-so-loyal courier Horner stuck his thumb into the pie and extracted the deed for Mells Manor, a plum piece of real estate, where his descendants live to this day.

but let me just say one thing. Next November, when all reputable polls have your candidate leading nationwide and in crucial swing states don't bitch when the Repubs steal it! When the exit polls don't match the "official" tally and Ohio, and Florida are put in the red column and you lose the popular vote 51-48, don't complain. If YOU don't give a shit about fraud in a January primary, why should WE give a fuck about fraud in November?
