1. Nah
The bashing helps Clinton...Bill Clinton was never as popular as when the Republicans were bashing him...

Let them bash Hillary all the way to the White House...

They will bash her all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue...

Blowback isn't a phenomenon contained to the Middle East...

5. "As Much as Everyone Else Does" You Get National Exposure everyday?
Damn.... not me and every other poster here, so rights have nothing to do with it. It's a PRIVILEGE when it comes to the media.

11. "progressive" has Nothing to do with it.. that's phony rhetoric
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 06:51 PM by fascisthunter
Every viewer has the right to make a complaint about programming. They pay for it! Left/right, it doesn't matter. Even a grassroots campaign to getting someone BOOTED from tv has nothing to do with censorship. Unless everyone has the same access as a pundit does to go on tv or the radio, and say what ever they want, it is not "freedom of speech". If it were, you'd be able to say every and any bit profanity imaginable without any repercussion.. also, everyone would have the same access to that ability. They don't, and you know that.

9. Ok, I just left a polite but stern complaint
about Matthews going way over the line this morning, demeaning Sen Clinton as not being qualified to be a Senator.

10. Mathews spews invectives about all the democratic hopefuls. But he's obsessed with sex at times.
Edited on Wed Jan-09-08 06:49 PM by ShortnFiery
I don't believe him "sexist," but just what George Carlin would categorize as a person who's both "full of sh*t" and "f**king nuts."

Tweety's far from stupid but he's "out there" AND for different reasons, much like O'Reilly:

<whispering> He's on the big vacation. :(

23. He has said that....
Hillary got elected as senator because people felt sorry. If he said similar remarks about Obama, he'd be sharing radio air time with Imus! For some reason it's okay to be sexist.

15. He's an equal opportunity attacker. The problem is not that he's attacking
Hillary.. the problem is he uses his powerful podium to SQUASH meaningful debate on issues and to exclude dialogue. Its all about the game and thats the way MSNBC wants it. Otherwise, They'd have taken his pompous worthless ass off the show long ago.
