For all that are going to vote Rep.
Just remember the dumb son of Bush in the White House, and then think about having another one for 8 years, didn't McCain graduate from one of the service academy's in next to last place then brag that he wish he had been last.

1. Are there really that many people
posting here that they'll vote republican? All that I've seen are threatening to vote independent/not vote at all if they won't vote for the democratic candidate in the general election.

3. I will be voting for every Democrat, except possibly one, in November.
I would never vote for a Republican.

So, put me down as a no vote.

6. I would
If Hillary gets the nomination, I'll vote for Repub or Bloomberg if he runs.

The same 2 families in control of the white house for 24 years is the worst thing that can happen to this country. Yes, worse than a republican in office as long as that repub isn't named Bush.

Although if Huckabee gets the nom, I vote Hillary.

9. I was never part of the party

I vote the candidate I feel is best to lead the country.

I don't vote the party line.

You know...I keep an open mind.

I missed voting in 04 by a month (due to age) but I can tell you without a doubt I would have voted for Bush in 2000, Kerry in 2004, and we'll see in 2008. Hopefully Obama or Edwards.

I come to these forums to see what the party thinks about his candidate.

Yes, I tend to lean towards Democrats and their stances, but I'm not so stubborn to think that our way is the only way.

11. Good way to run a ship
No dissent. No questioning. If you do question, you don't belong.

Sound familiar?

I like to look at Democratic forums, Repub forums, and neutral forums. It keeps me well rounded.

2. I'm not sure who this is directed to...
Lurking Republican voters? Or Democratic voters thinking about crossing over and voting in a GOP primary (say, in Michigan)?

5. Hard to imagine many, hell, ANY DUers attracted to McCain at this point.
Other than the nice-sounding noise about the odiousness of torture, there's little going for the man among progressives.

But I'll agree that he is, at present, the hardest of the Republicans for us to beat, since of the bozos running he is the most credible.

8. To any DU'ers considering voting repug in Nov: WTF are you thinking?
Are you dain-bramaged?

If you can't vote Dem, don't vote in the presidential race, especially if you are in a swing state.

16. We want a dem in office as much as you guys!
But Hillary is not the one to do it.

Seriously...how do you propose Hillary wins the GE? She won't get independent support (particularly vs Mccain or Giuliani). She's pissed off the black community (fair or not).

Nominating Hillary is almost a guaranteed loss.

and it doesn't carry that much weight.

Any one of our candidates will win handily in November. These childish threats don't change that.

20. sorry
being independent doesn't make you any more level-headed. The points you spout are just common run-of-the-mill anti-Clinton screeds not based in reality. That doesn't make you unbiased by any stretch.
