Two Positive Threads On GDP Front Page -Fifty Eight Negative Ones
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 09:12 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
This place is a downer...It's making it depressing to be a Democrat...Don't believe me, count em...I may be off a bit but not by much...Why don't you ladies and gentlemen start saying what's good about your candidate instead of saying what is crappy about the other...

2. Those threads sink like a rock.
I posted a feel good positive thread about Hillary yesterday. I do have to admit though no shitty replies to it.

3. I don't see 'em all. Here's my simple 7-step formula:
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 04:55 PM by FlyingSquirrel
(1) open an excel spreadsheet
(2) copy and paste 4 pages from GDP into it
(3) sort by thread author, then time/date
(4) look for multiples of 3 or more by same author
(5) examine title of thread and decide whose threads to ignore
(6) just ignore "threads started by", not "replies by"
(7) sprinkle in a few "ignore replies by" for some of them

You'll still see their posts if they hit the greatest page so don't worry about missing anything really important (although hitting the greatest page of course doesn't always mean it was important). You'll see a big drop in negativity though. I have about 40 or so on my list.

Of course once the primary is over I'll take most of 'em off the list and start over. Some of them are just so into their candidate I think they don't realize what they're doing.
