Covers abortion, global warning (check out the deniers), gay rights, taxes, trade (Appears Edwards is the only one who opposes NAFTA), gun control, health care, education, immigration, Iraq, stem cell research and social security. Issues people, issues.

3. One thing that REALLY stuck out
bushes tax cuts for the rich: Cost to the nation by 2017 $2.3 TRILLION!!
That much money would fund universal health care, would it not? Jeezus!

9. "That much money would fund universal health care"
No.

But, the current USAmerikan expenditure of $2,000,000,000,000 EVERY YEAR would do it easily if the $500,000,000,000 of corporate welfare to the health insurance mafia and big pharma were taken OUT of the equation!!!

4. thanks.. this is good to print out and hand to others
easy to understand and right to the point. Any issue that isn't detailed enough, they could then look into further, most sadly most won't (thats why this is so good..it's simplicity).

rec.

7. But no matter how widely different all Dems are from any Repub candidate...
...you ("you" in general -- no referring to the OP) can show what a paragon of principle and virtue and political wisdom you are by petulantly screaming about how this or that Democrat (Usually Clinton, sometimes anyone other than Kucinich) WON'T EVER GET YOUR VOTE!!!!

If 8 years of Bush wasn't enough pain and damage for this country and the world, perhaps another 4-8 years of pain and damage (like, say, 4-8 years with no serious US action on global warming, 4-8 years of Republican appointments to the Federal courts (especially the Supreme Court), 4-8 years of inaction on universal health care, etc.) is just what the we all need to "learn our lesson about" how right you are, and all that pain and damage will be well worth that smug feeling you get inside about being so pure and not putting up with less-than-satisfactory Democrats.

8. Interesting and exclusionary...
Edited on Mon Jan-14-08 12:42 PM by ProudDad
They include the "wacko fringe" candidates on the puke side -- the ones who have NO chance at nomination or election but...

They exclude the ONLY democrat candidate who has the RIGHT IDEA on health care, tax policies and the phony "war on terra (tm)" -- Dennis Kucinich.

All of the only 3 Dems covered are completely WRONG because they leave health care in the hands of the health insurance mafia and big pharma...the main REASONS for the inadequate USAmerikan Health Care system.

Other than Dennis, only Edwards is even CLOSE about what should be done about the USAmerikan's occupation of Iraq.

Other than Dennis, only Edwards even SAYS anything about the evil represented by corporate capitalist control of our society and the electoral system.

Unless the core problem of corporate power is addressed and the negative societal skew those evil bastards cause in our communities, all the rest is just pissing into a gale force headwind.

Unless corporate capitalism is STOPPED all mammalian lifeforms on Mother Earth are DOOMED!

11. I read it and all the Democrats are at near parity except for
the timetable in Iraq.

On this issue Edwards was most pro-ending the Iraq war debacle and Clinton the least. Obama in the middle.
