Florida Numbers

THE NUMBERS - REPUBLICANS

John McCain, 22 percent

Rudy Giuliani, 20 percent

Mike Huckabee, 19 percent

Mitt Romney, 19 percent

Fred Thompson, 7 percent

The Quinnipiac University poll was conducted from Jan. 9-13 and involved telephone interviews with 421 likely Democratic primary voters and 419 likely Republican primary voters. For each, the margin of sampling error was plus or minus 4.8 percentage points.

Oh wait, they didn't did they? Tell you what. I'll believe in stats and figures and percentages when it's the day after the general election in November, assuming there is no funny business as there was in 2000 and 2004. Until then, I'm ignoring the polls.

Things could change after the primaries if the big donors and news media decide to shift all the money and positive coverage to the GOP candidate.
