6. Hillary hit many homeruns.
The thing is, they didn't look like homeruns because she was so graceful.
This debate belonged to her.

11. They all came across very well; smart, caring, and well equipped to lead
the country in a new direction.

I can't imagine why an Independent would vote for any of the Rethug group over any of our possible nominees.

16. As a neutral observer, I think Hillary probably came out on top.
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 08:44 AM by Apollo11
I like Obama, but he seems hesitant when speaking in debates and interviews. He is much more comfortable delivering pre-prepared speeches. I also think that his poor organisational/administrative skills are not something he should be bragging about. He also got stuck in a silly hypothetical discussion with Edwards about the future role of US troops in Iraq.

I also like Edwards, but he only seems comfortable when he is sticking to the highlights of his stump speech. I also find his constantly blinking eyes are a distraction. From the psychological perspective, it sometimes looks like he is not 100% sincere. Hillary caught him out on his previous support for the Yukka Mountain nuclear waste facility in Nevada.

Hillary was confident and able to deliver meaningful answers on all the questions. She was very gracious about not attacking her opponents and emphasizing the need for the Democratic Party to come together and be united during the lead-up to the election in November. She hit a home run with her question to Obama, asking him to co-sponsor her attempt to rein-in President Bush.
