Statement from Campaign Manager Patti Solis Doyle on Michigan Primary
Press release.

"Tonight Michigan Democrats spoke loudly for a new beginning. You spoke out for an economy that would honor the middle class, not punish it. You spoke out for a President who will fight to create good paying jobs at a time when so many families are struggling to make ends meet. You spoke out for an end to the war in Iraq. You spoke out for a quality, affordable health care system that works for all Americans.

"For that, we thank you.

"Your voices matter. And as President, Hillary Clinton will not only keep listening, but will make sure your voice is always heard."

Post what you want, whine all you want, the last line of the statement says it all, and thats going to be whats heard tomorrow.

On that note good night all, I'm going to bed knowing Hillary did fantastic this Super Tuesday evening.

1. What a joke!
This is really something, even from Hillary. To claim a "victory" when none she was the only major candidate on the ballot is beyond belief!

I had started to think that maybe she wasn't as bad as I thought, but after this, well it's Edwards then Obama in my book.

4. The most progressive county in MI picked "uncommitted" over Hillary
But somehow, that is probably Victory! for triangulating Hillary.

8. Washtenaw, right? That's what you're referring to?
And she only got 51% in Oakland, which either means that:

1). Blacks in Pontiac came out in large numbers to vote against her
2). She's pretty damn unpopular with the average blue-collar UAW worker.

I mean, who else lives in Oakland County that votes democrat anymore?

And that's interesting considering pollsters always hone in on Oakland County in general elections to see if the state is going to go red or blue. With only 51% of Democrats in Oakland County voting for Hillary, it suggests the state will go red, if she's the Dem nominee.

Or is it just my bias? I grew up in Oakland County and the Hillary hatred there was always really intense.

7. To be honest... It's what would be expected from any candidate
I'm not supporting her, but I am not offended by this statement.

I would expect ANY candidate worth their salt to say the same thing.

They're getting their message out before someone like Matthews tells us how much she sucks and what a loser she is.

People who are outraged by this message need to switch to decaf or something.
