3. Is that Luntz, with a few extra pounds?
What he said was 'his language' did better; thats what luntz does,'studies' such things as how things are said.

Repubs have been doing this for many years, and no coincidence that they've done as well as they have.

Luntz said, more tomorrow.

5. Edwards' use of language is the most powerful
There is no doubt about that.

Luntz's videos are questionable however. Recently someone posted photos from two of the videos, and it looked like the same person was in two different videos which were supposed to be from two states. Still, Luntz is right. Edwards is the most effective in his choice of language. That is the benefit of his years as a trial lawyer.

I am an Edwards supporter.

7. I have to wonder what is up with Luntz?
This isn't the first time he has had a focus group state that Edwards was the winner. He's had a few reports on FOX that have been favorable.

Luntz attended my caucus and told me that he wanted Edwards to win Iowa. I let him have an Edwards caucus cookie.

13. He Used To Completely "Disgust" Me... But I Saw Him On C-Span On
Christmas Day, and he was very gracious and not at all obnoxious. I was going to switch the channel because I heard his voice, but was busy at the time. I was in my kitchen and only heard him at first and then decided to hear the whole thing! He basically stated he isn't RW anymore and he did seem to really like John Edwards!!

He kept telling the callers who were being hateful that couldn't they at least, one day, Christmas Day try to be nice and not be so offensive. I WAS shocked, and it had NOTHING to do with focus groups or ANYTHING! I do think he would vote for John Edwards!

Yes, I support Edwards, but just as I once thought some other people were true Democrats and have since found out differently... Luntz is different too! And anyone who knows me well will tell you what I used to say about him. And if I'm not mistaken, he's not working for the same people anymore or affiliated with them of something like that. I didn't "catch" everything he said.

15. —"it's not what you say, it's what people hear"—
This is what Luntz does. He messages the truth. He manipulates his viewers and readers.

I don't know what he believes but I do know this:
1) He works for Fox news (hardly the bastion of honesty and integrity).
2) His most recent dirty tricks with his "focus group" were just exposed.

Seems to me he's still the same old snake oil salesman in a new package.

11. Last time everybody in Luntz's focus group
loved Obama. They had the same beginning showing almost nobody coming in for Obama but everybody in the audience leaving loving Obama and hating Hillary. In both videos, it was apparent that Luntz worked with the group before he asked questions for the cameras. If undecideds broke for Obama the way Luntz made it look like they did Obama would have won New Hampshire.

I think its all a fake.
