1. She talked for a minute and a half in that video and gave zero substance
about what she would do. And to think the Hillary people attack Obama on substance? :eyes:

5. I Don't Hate Hillary
I haven't decided who to support. Im not listening to MsM telling me who I should support, and I am trying to learn a lot about about each candidate's platform, so I can make the vote of a lifetime count for something (that almost sounds funny, if it were not such a serious matter). I still have a few questions for Hillary that no one here is talking about. That, and I do think she is coming across as more than a little shrill. Maybe not tonight, but that is the general impression I have gotten leading up to the crying incident(s?)

Without trying to offend anyone, I would like to know a few tidbits:

A. How much money if any, has she accepted from AIPAC?
B. Can we talk about Vince Foster?
C. Would she be willing to go before congress and tell what she knew about what went on in the White House Travel Office?
D. How (in detail) would her administration's policies differ significantly with those of Herr Decidermeister?
E. Is it possible she has not acted legislatively or ethically against El Pretendero Mucho Estupido because she wants to have , intact, all the (new) powers he has granted himself?
F. If the answer to "E." is "yes," please detail to me exactly how that would benefit our nation in these precarious times.

Just trying to rule yes or no on her tonight.

7. You do TOO hate Hillary. Stop lying.
It is immediately transparent that you are indeed a Hillary-hater merely by looking at your questions. Vince Foster? White House Travel Office? Everybody except the most stubbornly ill-informed wingnuts know that these phoney 'scandals' were investigated multiple times, by different agencies, including some run by Clinton-haters, and not one single element of wrongdoing was revealed on the part of Hillary or anyone else.

Rational people know and accept this. That leaves you in the irrational crowd.

Being irrational is a requirement for Hillary hatred.

Thanks so much for your reply. It shows a lot of thought, and I'm especially impressed with how sure of your opinions you are.

Also I appreciate the shrill, hysterical tone of your statements. So quick to call me irrational when all I did was POLITELY ask questions. If the situation were reversed, I would point you to legitimate sources of information to back up my position, instead of doing a neocon-style "You're a wingnut!" "smackdown" on you. Bet you were just gleeful when you hit that reply button, right? Next time you want to do a "smackdown" on someone, please provide verifiably truthful references. The "smackdown" is rather Freeperish, and it's right out of Karl Rove's playbook.

You've just answered all of my questions, and cost Mrs. Clinton a vote. I'll make sure to not vote for her, as a direct result of your (I must call it weak at best) "defense" of her. All I wanted to know were a few answers about Mrs. Clinton. Honest, clear answers to honest, clear questions. How about more facts and less name calling?

Thanks again for your heartfelt, compassionate reply, and we'll just wait and see how she does on election day.

Good luck to you and your candidate. With supporters like you, she will surely need it!

9. The poster was shrill and hysterical??
Hmmm - where have I heard those adjectives before? I think the poster was correct. All the right wing talking points in one place. Congratulations.

10. Oh, gawd. Vince Foster? Travelgate? Any substance ever come out on those after the rightwingers...
...beat the hell out of those non-stories and came up with...zero culpability on Hillary's part?

Agree with Rageneau that these sure smack of the same smear campaign assiduously pursued by Rove et al.

14. What do you want to talk about Vince Foster for...
Edited on Wed Jan-16-08 08:18 AM by rasputin1952
there have been 3 investigations, all of them have concluded that Foster committed suicide.

The Travel Office? Please, bush has has stopped all investigations over the Justice Dept firings, which has far more potential as a national problem that the Travel Office.

Will we be bringing up Whitewater again? The Clinton's LOST money on the deal, but RW zealots kept funding the "investigation" until the best they could come up with was a sexual peccadillo.

I am not supporting any candidate at this point, but to bring up such spurious arguments is asking for little more than a heck of a lot of heat.

I despise bush for what hew has done to our country, but my disdain for him appears to pale before the hatred of some who simply despise the Clinton's just for the sake of hating.
