Help Elect John Edwards President, (And get a t-Shirt, or a lawn sign, or even a bumper sticker…)

-- Where all Americans right? And what do Americans like more than anything? T-shirts. It's simple. (We'll talk apple pie, baseball and stock car racing another time.) We buy them wherever we go, sometimes we get a good shirt, and it just somehow makes a statement about us. Go ahead, try to tell me you don't have a favorite t-shirt.


Now what if, on the big 7 million dollar day, just in case you don't know, it's this Friday,
January 18th, what if we all got lawn signs for our money? Or, maybe we could each get a spiffy t-shirt. Maybe even a big ol' banner to drape across our garage doors to drive our repuglikin neighbors nuts. How about one of each? I'm a big fan of killing 2 birds with one stone, it helps if you don't have a lot of stones, (as a disclaimer here, I'd like to state as fact, I've never actually killed a bird with a stone, or in any other manner) and this seems a good way to do that.

What does all this mean?

This is what all this means, try to follow along. When you buy a lawn sign, or a bumper sticker, or a t-shirt even, 100% of that purchase goes to the campaign, and we get even more visibility for John Edwards. I've got a rally sign up in patio window right now, and I have to tell you, it looks great. How are you showing your Edwards spirit? Do people know you support Edwards, when you go to the store? Do your co-workers know how much you like Edwards because of your Edwards mouse pad? How about when they drive by your house, do they see a nifty Edwards sign on your lawn?

Let America know Edwards is your candidate! It's a conversation starter.

Hell, if you're a good ol' boy, you can even get yourself one of these:

29. I Donated Sunday, Bought Bunches Of Stuff Already... Had THREE

yard signs, neighbor asked for one.... but I WILL DONATE AGAIN TOMORROW!! I'm tapped, but I BELIEVE!

And pray that my husband NEVER sees MY credit card!! He support Edwards, but I give the money that he doesn't actually SEE! One good thing about taking care of all the bills and paperwork around here!!

I wonder if anyone can answer this question: when I went to the Edwards site tonight, at the donate page, it tells me that "New: Your contribution could be doubled. Public campaign financing matches your personal contribution total up to $250."

Does this apply to my contribution tomorrow? Will the monies we all are donating tomorrow be matched up to $250? Man, that would be awesome!!
