Here are the inner details of the polls.

In terms of favorability, the poll measured those who view the candidate strongly favorable, somewhat favorable, somewhat unfavorable, and strongly unfavorable. Here are the stats listed for our candidates listed in the order above.

Hillary - 28, 28, 12, 29
Edwards - 11, 36, 17, 16
Obama - 26, 32, 18, 14

Among Dems only it looks like this

Hillary - 51, 37, 6, 7
Edwards - 19, 44, 11, 4
Obama - 39, 34, 8, 12

In terms of Electability, changing favorable and putting in electable, these are the results (bad news for JE)

Hillary - 38, 51, 7, 1
Edwards - 3, 35, 42, 15
Obama - 30, 52, 10, 5

Good news for the dems is that in a question asking who you are more likely to support in November, Dems lead Repubs 48%-33%

Now Lets get to Individual matchups

Obama leads McCain 41-39 with 2 percent leaning towards Obama and 3 percent leading towards McCain and 11 percent undecided

However, McCain leads Clinton 47-43%, with 1 percent leaning towards McCain, 2 percent towards Clinton, and 7 percent undecided, and McCain also beats Edwards 47-39% with 11 percent undecided

Obama beats Huckabee by 23 points, while Clinton beats him by 9 points, Edwards beats him by 16 points

Obama beats Romney by 30 points, Clinton beats him by 8 points, Edwards beats him by 15 points

Obama beats Ghouliani by 21 points, Clinton beats him by 10 points, Edwards beats him by 17 points


Hillary leads on the question of experience over Obama and Edwards - 62-17-11

Obama leads as the most Inspirational Leader over Clinton and Edwards - 51-31-10

Obama leads in the question who can lead the country in a new direction over Clinton and Edwards - 44-35-12.

4. I recognize the time the polls were taken, but I wouldnt use Rasmussen to refute such claims.

5. I'm sorry but coming from an Edwards supporter, that's just absurd
You guys have been posting over and over and over again old polls showing Edwards as the most electable, and now this comes out, and shows that's no longer true, and you start trying to prove that ONE poll changes what's clearly a trend.

6. And to use Rasmussen to do it.
Look, this may not be the current trend, but I saw the poll and it even had election matchups, so why not post it.
