Someone needs to tell Mr. Huckabee..
that the President is sworn in on a bible to protect the constitution, not vice versa. I'm sure the founding fathers did it that way for a reason.

I think his recent statements ought to disqualify him from office.

1. Wish they'd put their hand on a constitution instead.

4. The Founders took religion, faith, and the Bible seriously.
Most were devout Christians. This is why they believed in protecting religion from governmental corruption. Politicizing religion invariably weakens the moral fabric of a society. Since Jerry Falwell "brought morality" into politics, our society has become increasingly amoral, violent, and irresponsible. This is one of the key byproducts of Christians politicizing their faith and thus undermining the core message of what religion is supposed to inspire in a society.

5. At least he's honest
I'm an atheist so you couldn't pay me to vote for someone trying to make his religion the laws I have to live by.

But... at least Huckabuck is honest. He wants to outlaw same sex marriage and outlaw abortion, hell, even birth control. How is his agenda any different than the republican platform? It's not. Not one bit. At least Huckabuck is honest about *why* he wants to amend the constitution. The rest of them wink, wink, nudge, nugdge - "family values" blah blah blah. At least Huckabuck is honest.

Not that I'd ever vote for that idiot - actually, I'd vote for him as postmaster or something like that. He's a nice enough guy. But, hello! My retarded brother is a nice enough guy - but I wouldn't vote for him as president.
