And that is with McCain only winning by three percentage points. Explain that one!

2. Oh but nobody got delegates in Nevada yet right?
How can CNN say such a thing?

4. I think it has something to do with SC being a primary and NV being a caucus
The whole thing is very confusing to me,

3. Because we have different rules than the Republicans
We award delegates proportionately. Repubs have a lot of winner take all counties.

5. I really think there ought to be a more straightforward system
The more scrutiny the specifics of this electoral process gets, the less it holds up in my opinion.

6. Oh good grief. This is ridiculous.
Seriously, we need a third party so we can get rid of all this archaic set up.

7. I'd prefer a popular vote too
Gore would have been in the White House if we'd had a popular vote. However, a 3rd party would make no difference whatsoever in the election rules. Ross Perot did very well in 1992, but he didn't affect the voting setup whatsoever.

8. Just a third party to get rid of the primary process
and start fresh. For the General it wouldn't matter.

9. I do not understand why you think a third party would get
rid of the primary process. There was a big fight for Ross Perot's party's nomination after Perot stopped running on that ticket. In other words, the third party has a primary too.
